Based on the synopsis yang saya browse through... Filem 29 Februari, mengisahkan seorang lelaki bernama Budi yang lahir pada tahun 1896 dan menghabiskan seumur hidupnya menunggu Lily, cinta sejatinya. Budi kehilangan ibu bapanya semasa penjajahan Jepun pada 1941 dan bertemu Razak di rumah anak-anak yatim. Budi bertemu Lily pada 1957 dan jatuh cinta pada pertemuan pertama. Lily melarikan diri apabila dipaksa berkahwin dengan Alex, kenalan keluarganya. Budi menghabiskan masa selama 40 tahun mencari Lily. Filem ini memaparkan transformasi Malaysia dari tahu 1896, penjajahan Jepun, pemerintahan British, kemerdekaan sehingga era kemodenan MALAYSIA.
