Dear Big Boss, Boss, Colleagues and Subordinates,

After a year and one month of exciting and memorable stint with all of you and the organization, I am bidding adieu next week to this organization to pursue other career opportunities. As I move on, I would like to take a moment to remember and cherish our times together. It's been great interacting and knowing each one of you. Even though I will miss you all there, I am looking forward to this new challenge and to start a new phase of my career.

This is not a goodbye, only "hasta luego" or "see you later".

As I informed you in the farewell party today, my last working day would be next Tuesday, July 24th. I want to take a few minutes today here in my bloggie to convey my thoughts in being part of the team for the last one year and one month.

I have been extremely satisfied with my work here, working under your guidance has been a learning and an enjoyable experience. I thank you all for your support and encouragement during these one year and one month.

However, I feel that it is time for me to move on to new opportunities. This decision was not an easy one and it took a lot of consideration. I think this decision is in the best interests towards fulfilling my career goals. I want to do my best in completing my existing responsibilities and then ensuring a smooth transition. I want you all to know that I am truly leaving here with mixed feelings; happy about my new career opportunity, but sad to be leaving such a great team where I have so many wonderful bosses, colleagues, friends and subordinates. The last one year and one month as a member of this organization was the best period of my career so far. I learned a great deal and worked with many people with whom I am sure I will remain friends for a long time. I can only wish that my new job will give me such rewarding experiences and supportive friends.

Thank you so much for making my time at this organization a truly enjoyable one and I would like to extend my best wishes to the entire group. My very best wishes for the future go out to each and every one of you.

Yours sincerely,

Me @ Farah Waheda Wahid
